Lean IT Leadership Training

The Lean IT Leadership training builds on the foundational knowledge acquired through the Lean IT Foundation. Lean IT Leadership focuses on ensuring that individuals in leadership roles within a Lean IT organization know what they need to do to help it develop into a Lean IT organization. This role can be exercised in either a formal or informal capacity. Individuals who follow the Lean IT Leadership curriculum can significantly benefit from first understanding the Lean IT Kaizen role. One of the core tasks of Lean IT Leadership is driving and teaching continuous improvement, and the tools for this task are discussed in detail in Lean IT Kaizen.

This self-paced e-learning course provides knowledge about how and why Lean Leadership is different from traditional hierarchical or command-and-control models. It focuses on Lean principles such as “Gemba” (Go To Where The Work Happens) and “Jidoka” (Empowerment of the team member to “Stop The Line”) to address quality issues as soon as they are discovered. The principles of Lean Leadership are crucial for enabling an agile team that quickly and effectively deals with opportunities for service and process improvement.
